10 kilos heavier, 100 times stronger. This is Phaedra’s path to self-love.

You don’t need to be an influencer to make an impact. Not a top athlete, not an expert. Sometimes, being real is more than enough. Like Phaedra.

She caught our eye with her heartfelt posts, her energy, and most of all: the way she spoke about herself – and about us. With gratitude, but also with quiet strength. Behind her smile lies a story. One she’s ready to share.

A story of resilience. Of healing. Of reclaiming pride.

“There was a time when my life was ruled by food rules, control and fear.”

Phaedra is 24, studying educational sciences, and working on her mental and physical health every day. But her road here hasn’t been easy.
As a teenager, she developed an eating disorder. What started as a healthy lifestyle goal turned into anorexia nervosa. Her life became all about perfectionism and control. She dropped out of university, lost herself completely — mentally and physically.
“I used to live to become smaller. Now I want to think bigger. My body isn’t the enemy anymore – it’s my home. And that feels like a victory.”

A quiet moment of self-trust for Phaedra, in the midst of her recovery.

“My goal isn’t a before & after. My goal is freedom.”

Today, she lives differently. She trains, she studies, she chooses kindness over control. She’s heavier than she once was, but lighter in her mind. Stronger than ever.

“I want to feel good in my body. Not to be perfect, but to feel free. Free from rules, from expectations, from the idea that I’ll only be ‘enough’ if I’m smaller.”

She’s focused on strength, energy and self-love – at her own pace.

Why DM Training?

Phaedra shines in her DM Training outfit – a woman in recovery, embracing her body with pride.

Phaedra discovered DM Training as part of her recovery. Not as ‘just a sportswear brand’, but as support. In clothes that don’t correct, but embrace. That don’t hide, but celebrate her body.
“DM Training isn’t just sportswear to me. It’s a reminder. Of how far I’ve come. That I’m allowed to be seen – not in spite of my story, but because of it.”

“If my story makes even one person feel less alone – it’s worth it.”

Phaedra doesn’t want to be a role model. Just a real one. Someone who’s been there. Someone who gets it. And someone who’s still walking the path, every day.

And that’s why she belongs here. In our community.
